RESEARCH

Exploring the questions that shape better decisions.

Research is how I deepen my understanding of the complex challenges facing organisations, professionals and society. My work explores how trust, information, leadership and innovation influence decision-making, with the aim of producing knowledge that is both academically rigorous and practically relevant.

WHY I RESEARCH

Research begins with curiosity before certainty.

I am interested in understanding how people make decisions in environments characterised by uncertainty, incomplete information and rapidly evolving technologies. My goal is not simply to generate knowledge, but to produce insights that improve professional practice, inform education and contribute meaningfully to society.

RESEARCH AREAS

Decision Quality

Understanding how individuals and organisations evaluate information and make informed decisions.

Trust and Verification

Examining how trust is established, maintained and strengthened in digitally mediated environments.

Information Asymmetry

Investigating how unequal access to information influences consumer and organisational behaviour.

Responsible Innovation

Exploring how emerging technologies create value while maintaining ethical and societal responsibility.

Business Education

Understanding how education develops judgement, critical thinking and responsible leadership.

CURRENT DOCTORAL RESEARCH

My current doctoral research examines how verification mechanisms influence consumer decision quality within digitally mediated non-surgical aesthetics. While situated within the aesthetics sector, the research contributes to wider understanding of information asymmetry, trust and decision-making in experience and credence markets.

BEYOND THE DOCTORATE

Beyond my doctoral research, I intend to explore broader questions relating to leadership, digital trust, responsible innovation and business education. I am particularly interested in translating research into practical insight that informs organisations, educators and policymakers.

RESEARCH IN PRACTICE

My professional practice continually informs my research, while my research shapes the way I approach entrepreneurship, education and strategic advisory work. This reciprocal relationship enables ideas to be tested, refined and translated into practical outcomes.

COLLABORATION

I welcome opportunities to collaborate with universities, researchers, professional bodies and industry partners on research, teaching and knowledge exchange that contributes to meaningful impact.

The most meaningful research rarely begins with answers. It begins with thoughtful questions and a commitment to understanding problems that matter.
